How to measure properly — why most PE measurements are wrong
-
One of the biggest problems in PE communities is inconsistent measurement leading to false gain claims. Here's how to measure properly so your data is actually meaningful:
LENGTH:
Bone-pressed erect length (BPEL) is the standard. Press the ruler against the pubic bone, measure to the tip. Always press to bone — fat pad variation causes huge inconsistency. Same time of day, same arousal level, same ruler position.
GIRTH:
Midshaft at the same point every time. Use a fabric measuring tape, not a ruler. Measure at the same erection level. Slight pressure variations change the reading significantly.
CONSISTENCY:
Measure at the same time each session. Many guys measure immediately post-session when still engorged — that's not your true measurement. Wait at least an hour after any PE.
Track 5-10 measurements over a week and average them for a reliable baseline. Then repeat the same process at 3 month intervals. This is the only way to know if something real is happening.
